This July, the town of Clonakilty, welcomes you the very first 'Random Acts of Kindness Festival'. This unique event will bring everyone in the community together, including businesses, voluntary organisations and individuals for one special weekend. The festival will celebrate, encourage and showcase the kindness, the spirit and the welcoming nature not just of Clonakilty but of the Irish people.


The saying goes 'one good turn deserves another'; this in a way is the basis for the festival. The festival will create the environment for everyone in the town, both local and visitor, to do small simple acts of kindness to make someone else smile. We believe that this positivity and kindness will multiply and spread throughout the locality creating a special atmosphere.
